ABOUT CLASSIC COLLECTIBLE AUTOMOBILES, INC.
Classic Collectible Automobiles was born out of our passion for great cars. We work very hard to filter through all the junk out there and zero in on very nice cars you can drive and enjoy. If you've ever tried to buy an old classic on your own, you know what we mean. So much junk and so many sellers that don't really care that they are wasting your time. We can't even begin to tell you how many miles we've put on the old car hauler only to come back empty handed and frustrated!
FROM HOBBY TO BUSINESS
What started out as a hobby and a few cars has grown into a full fledged business that is driven by our desire to fulfill dreams and talk cars. To be around them, work on them and drive them everyday. Call us what you will ... car nuts, gear heads, grease monkeys, you name it, we've been tooling around with machines now for over 25 years. We love all types of great cars, especially American Muscle Cars ... it's why we come to work everyday.
NO SALESMAN, NO PRESSURE
We are a small family business and built that way on purpose. When you call, you'll be speaking with one of the owners, the way it should be. No fast talking commissioned sales people, and no pressure -- ever. We welcome inspections, or, better yet, come see the car in person. We don't sell cars we don't want to own ourselves and get excited about. In fact, we pass on many more cars than we purchase. Take a look at our cars. Each car comes complete with dozens of high resolution detailed photos. Although there is no substitution for seeing a car in person, it's the next best thing. Read more about the type of cars we buy and sell in the "about our cars" section of our web site.
HOLD FOR INSPECTION
We know how difficult it can be to purchase a car long distance. We will hold a car with a deposit so you can make any arrangements you need to either have the car inspected or see it in person. We are having a lift installed soon for inspection of the undercarriage so you can leave your overalls at home. Take your time, relax and decide for yourself if this is the right car for you.
DALE NOVAK
Dale's been fooling around with cars ever since high school. His first car was a 1970 Dodge Challenger with the coveted 440 magnum and 727 Slap Stick transmission. It came to his home via flatbed with parts piled inside the trunk and interior. Actually, the car had no interior and didn't run. He paid $500 for it and turned it into a restored real stick-to-your-seat pavement pounder. Through the years he's owned several classics such as a 1967 Mustang GTA Fastback and a 1969 Dodge Superbee. Dale also loves British roadsters and has owned two Triumph TR6s. One he personally restored to show condition and the other an all original #2 condition with only 8,000 miles on the clock. Dale's expertise is in finding great cars -- checking out VINs, numbers and codes, mechanical inspections, performance modifications and cosmetic details. His eye for nice cars is exceptional. He's very picky and it shows when you visit our showroom. Dale's pride and joy is a restored 1959 Corvette (our internet mascot).
JULIE NOVAK
Growing up with three gear head brothers (Larry Follett is Julie's brother) Julie couldn't help but become a real car (girl?). She's owned more great classics than any of us. By the time she was 25 she had already been behind the wheel of a 71 Mach One, 69 Camaro, 69 Chevelle, 77 Corvette and a 85 Porsche (yes, these were her cars)! Julie loves cars and appreciates style and design as well as the rumble of a big block V8. Her latest find is a 1950 Chevrolet 3600 Pickup. It needs restoration, but it's got a three-on-the-tree and a wood bed. Gotta love that. Julie runs the day-to-day affairs of the business and actually makes sure we sell the cars instead of keeping everything we buy.
LARRY FOLLETT
Larry's been a car guy all of his life. Taking cars apart, pulling engines and working on just about anything that moves (including motorcycles and snowmobiles). Larry's our resident paint and body detective. If it's been worked on, he'll know it. His eye for quality and uncovering even the most minor blemish is without fail (and quite frustrating to unscrupulous "flippers"). His latest project is a tire smoking 1971 split bumper Camaro. When it's done it will be posted in our showroom, but won't be for sale (sorry). Larry checks over every car for past bodywork, hidden rust and other imperfections. If it's "solid" it will be in our showroom, if not, we just won't buy it.
