1968 Mustang Coupe. Two Owners, VERY ORIGINAL. 289 Auto.
We've driven and owned plenty of Mustangs from totally restored to fun drivers and this Pony drives out as good as, or better, than any we have owned, including the finest restored examples. A true testimony to how well cared for she is. A pampered life without any question. Simply put, it drives out superbly. Starts right up with no known issues and runs and drives super tight and just glides down the road. Very nice paint and body. Notice the crisp reflections in the photos, not modeled or hazy. Very nice interior sporting an older refurbishing (nice patina) but still in excellent condition. This is the type of Mustang Coupe that you hope to find, clean, tight, well cared for, solid, straight and so very original. Dressed out in her original Highland green over two-tone Ivy Gold and just about as original as they come. No modifications, rebuilt engine plus a letter from Ford decoding the car as it left the factory. Everything remains as it was in 1968. Original color (older repaint, but excellent as the photos show), original interior combination, and even the original AM radio which works just fine. Truly unmolested and from about 10 feet away, looks nearly showroom new. It is hard to describe in words ... this old Pony just does not lie. This is how I was born and I've led a pampered, easy life and it shows. She was only driven on special occasions and for Sunday drives by her last owner and has spent a good portion of her life in sunny Florida. Pampered, garage kept, always maintained and serviced and kept impeccably detailed at all times. A fastidious owner who never let so much as a squeak, rattle of misfire go unchecked. Get out and drive it. Enjoy it. This is what the hobby is all about. And this car is meant to driven and enjoyed. A few quick facts from the previous owner. New tires, engine was rebuilt at 143,720 miles (now showing 162,500 miles on the clock), new interior and headliner (older restoration), new dash, factory original radio in working condition, newer paint (older repaint but done very well), new brakes, springs, ball joints and polyurethane bushings all around.
